Assassination Attempt! Head of Venezuelan National Assembly Accuses Washington!
Venezuelan officials don't rule out the possibility of new attacks from the USA against the country's civil facilities. The head of the Constituent National Assembly accused Washington of an assassination attempt on President Maduro in August of 2018 and the recent failure on the Guri Dam, the largest in the country.
Diosdado Cabello thinks that America won't stop, quote: «The USA may attempt to conduct terrorist acts in subway, schools, or hospitals»; end quote.
Caracas has also criticized Washington's actions regarding the American diplomatic property in Venezuela. To recap, the White House basically handed over the three buildings of the diplomatic mission to the opposition. The Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out a direct violation of the Vienna Convention and promised a mirror response on U.S. territory.
Meanwhile, the USA increases pressure on the Bolivarian Republic. Now the American Administration hopes for help from Brazilian soldiers to persuade the Venezuelan Army to support the opposition.
